Web service to retrieve project time entered

I am attempting to retrieve hours entered for projects ideally by the project URI, in order to compare to forecast time (by day). I cannot seem to track down the best web service for this. The results would need to include the resource URI for cross comparison and the other meta data (billable category etc.). I'm retrieving the forecast time successfully by resource through use of /services/ResourceService1.svc/GetResourceAllocationSummaryForProjectsSeries.

Thanks

Thanks Lingaraj. Going via individual timesheets is the last resort really, as there will be a lot of intermediate work to transform timesheet entries into the project level information I'm after. Is there no ability to retrieve detailed results for an individual project? I can see ProjectService1.svc/GetProjectActualsByTeamMember provides totals but I'm looking for the weekly figures.

Hi Andrew,
There are 2 ways to go about this:
1. Using reports - You can configure a report with all the required fields, and then call the reprot via services and passing the date ranges and ProjectURIs, UserURIs as filters. This is would be a preferred way since you wouldn't need to perform any data massaging, and will get data down to the last detail that you want.
2. If you only need the comparison for the time estimated versus time entered for a project, you can have a look at ProjectService1.svc/GetTimeEnteredSeries.

Thanks Saurabh, that has worked quite well via Reports. I note that it seems the project name and user name need to be in the report seemingly for the filter via URI to work.
