We’re working on the following changes; We'll notify you via the release notes once these changes are live.

Introducing Replicon’s Intelligent Bot: Your friend in time entry and approval

Working out can be boring, right? But ‘they’ say if you work out with a partner, you vastly improve your chances of sticking with a regular workout routine.

Another thing that can (admittedly) be boring is filling out your timesheet. Or approving timesheets.

But what if we introduced a buddy into the mix, an intelligent buddy, who listens to you, knows your work patterns, and can make useful suggestions when you’re filling out or approving timesheets?

Introducing Replicon Bot!

Now, the word ‘bot’ may not sound especially friendly, but our bot can act like a friend by helping you remember what you worked on, and prompting you to enter time or approve items so you don’t have to work up the initiative to do that all on your own.

What are bots? Well, they’re virtual assistants that are available in messaging or other programs you already use regularly – like your Replicon Mobile app. Bots can answer questions and help you get things done faster.

You can talk to our bot in conversational English, and it will suggest actions to take. For example, you could have a conversation like this:

One short and pleasant exchange, and one irksome task is in the can!

Note that Replicon Bot is currently only available if you’re using the Time Distribution Grid timesheet format in the new product suite.

Please reply to this thread if you’d like to try a beta preview of Replicon Bot in Replicon Mobile today!

Improved keyboard navigation on In/Out Times + Allocation timesheets

Just a note for those using the In/Out Times + Allocation configurable timesheet format: we’ll soon be improving the keyboard navigation available in that format. These are the primary changes you can expect to see:

  • Focus will be on In time field when you add a new row to the timesheet, and
  • You’ll be able to move to the next field by clicking the Tab key
