Unique Timesheet Identifier

To assist clients with annual audits, more specifically, A-133 audits which require testing of several timesheets throughout the fiscal year, it would be extremely helpful to affix a unique identifier to each timesheet.

This was available in the WTS 7.5 database and I find it difficult to believe that such an identifier is not already available within the Gen3 database.

Hi John,

In the Gen 3 version of Replicon we have URIs (Uniform Resource Identifiers) that are unique to each timesheet. These URIs can be tracked through reports. You can follow the below steps to find the timesheet URIs
- Go to Reports and create a new timesheet report
- Create a custom column and search for timesheet URI
- Include the URI column in the report and run the report

Please let us know if our explanation differs your concern and we will be glad to help

Thanks,
Aashnee

Thank you Aashnee.

Unfortunately, this is a bit too complex of a 'number' and the URI is not able to have a search performed on it via reporting.

Ideally, I wish to use such an identifier as a descriptor to replace the use of an employee's Employee ID on the general ledger entries of our project allocations.
