Hi Rose,

Thank you for using the Replicon Community!

May we request you to use the Timesheet Day template in order to create the report as per your requirement stated above. Please use the below steps:

- Go to Reports and click on "+New Report"
- Choose Category as Timesheet and report type as Timesheet Day template
- Choose User Name, Timesheet Period, Entry Date, Hours Worked, Time off Type and Time off hours
- You can choose Project Name and Client name in case your employees record time against the project and clients
- Group the rows by Timesheet period or user name and click on Create Report

You can filter the report based on your requirement and run the report.

Thanks,

Hi Aashnee,

I am looking for a similar report, but in addition to the information you include I also need Overtime Hours in the report.  I've been working with Replicon Support and it does not appear that it is possible to have both Overtime Hours and Time Off Type in the same report.  Can this be configured in the next update?

Thank you,

Stuart

Hi Stuart,

Thank you for using the Replicon Community!

Before we look further into the issue, I would like to confirm if you would like the time off hours and overtime hours in one report or time off hours, time off type or overtime hours in one?

Thanks,
Aashnee

I'd like User Name, Timesheet Period, Hours Worked, Overtime Hours, Time off Type and Time off hours all in one report.

Thanks,

Stuart

Thank you Aashnee.  I think most payroll managers would agree that it is important to have all of the requested information in one report.  As it stands we must run 2 reports and cross reference the information to accurately pay our hourly employees and track their paid time off.

Hi Stuart,

I agree that it makes sense to have all the payroll data in one report. Can you explain a bit how you are using time off type for these purposes? vs using separate pay codes for each time off type.

Thanks,
Charlene

Hi Charlene,

It has not been presented to me that we could have separate pay codes for each Time Off Type.  The only related pay code that we have right now is Time Off and it lumps all of the Time Off Types together.

We have several different Time Off Types for which an hourly employee might receive pay...PTO, Vacation, Jury Duty, Bereavement, etc..  We can run a report with Hours worked, OT, and Total Time Off Hours (and not include Time Off Type) or we can run a report with Hours Worked, Time Off Hours, Time Off Type (and not include OT).

We can't seem to run a report that includes both OT hours and Time Off Type.

We need OT hours to be included in the report because without those hours included, the report just gives a total number of hours for the pay period which is semimonthly.  OT however is calculated on a 40 hour workweek and this means that payroll must do calculations for something that should be included in the report.

We need Total Time Off Hours to be split out by Time Off Type so that in our payroll system it can code and track how many hours and dollars an employee was paid for Vacation and PTO and Jury Duty and Bereavement, etc. on a separate basis.

Sincerely,
Stuart Zetterman

Hi Stuart,

You can setup a new pay code for each time off type - it could even be named "Vacation" etc. Then within each time off type, you can choose the pay code to associate those hours too. I think then you could use the Employee Pay Details report to get the data you're looking for.

Please give this a try and let us know if it accomplishes what you need. If you'd like some help trying it out, feel free to get in touch.

Thanks,
Charlene
