Substitute User is not receiving a copy of Email Notifications

We set up a substitute user to take care of time and expense approvals. The substitute user is able to access the main user's account and complete the necessary tasks. However, the substitute user does not receive a copy of the email notification when a timesheet is submitted. The main approver is receiving a notification, but not the substitute.

According to https://www.replicon.com/help/assigning-a-substitute-user ,
"Substitute users can access your account with your level of permissions and will receive a copy of your e-mail notifications."

Hi,

Is there any update to this issues of the substitute approvers nor receiving the same emails that the main approvers do?  This affects several of our customer accounts and this issue was first raised 2 months ago.  Please provide an update or solution's ETA.  Thank you.

We had a report of substitute users who started to get copied on email notifications on approvals sent to the PM as of last Friday. I did not see a release note on it so was surprised. Can you confirm this was implemented? thank you

I just set up a test scenario, and it doesn't appear that a fix has been deployed to our instance yet. No email was sent to the substitute user I set up. It's possible that they are rolling out the fix in batches.

Has this issue been resolved yet? We have an employee out on leave and need a substitute to approve for her. Just wondering if he will receive the email notifications.

HI Kelly,

ON the Gen 3 version of Replicon if you are using our latest custom timesheet format, then the notifications do get forwarded to the substitute user. You can choose to do so by enabling the following check box on the substitute user screen

That box does not appear in our version of Replicon. So we would have to create a completely new timesheet template in order to get that simple option to appear? Considering how infrequently we need to use substitute users, I think we will probably just go without notifications. Thanks for your response.
