Hi Rachel,

We would like to understand the requirement of stop watch within your organization. We would be glad if you could share why you would not prefer using an In/Out timesheet instead of a standard timesheet with a stop watch.

Hi Aashnee,

Our employees may be working on multiple projects/clients in a single day, they use the stopwatch feature to keep track of how much time they spend on a single task to avoid any mistakes or forgetting how much time they have spent before moving onto the next project.

What is an In/Out timesheet?

Thanks,
Rachel

Hi Rachel,

An In/Out timesheet allows you to manually add in time and out time against the selected project/task. As per your requirement I can also suggest you to choose a punch timesheet for your users. This provides you with an option to clock in and clock out of project/tasks and records the exact start and end time. Additionally, if need be you can choose to have an ability to allow employees to edit the time added by these punches.

I can have a support representative call you and provide you a demo on the same.

Is this something that is a completely separate product? We did not expect that this feature (that was present in Gen2) would be for a separate fee in Gen3.

Hello Jas,

The stop clock functionality is discontinued and in and out timesheet is also part of your module.

You can have various timesheet templates set up based on your requirements.

You can configure the template that meets your requirement and we request you to refer to the below article to know more about configuring timesheet templates:

https://www.replicon.com/help/custom-timesheet-template-options/

If you want to discuss this in detail we will be more than happy to contact you.

The In Out timesheet is not as efficient as the stop watch was.  I spent 40 minutes inputting my time as I now have to track it separately.  When you have around 40-50 line items a week in a timesheet, inputting In/Out time is not efficient enough.  With 5 members on my team alone, this means roughly 4 hours a week is spent entering time on different tasks.

Is the stop watch coming back?

Hello Michelle,

Thank you for your response.

We have punch based timesheets to meet your requirements.

For example, you can set up a timesheet that can be used by the users to clock in and clock out this will capture the exact time that the user spent on Activity or Task.

The users will be using a mobile app or a Cloud clock to register the punches and you can also record the location and capture the user photo to validate the punches made.

To know more about mobile app you may refer to the below article:

https://www.replicon.com/help/Punching-in-and-out-using-Replicon-Mobile/

To know more about Replicon Cloud clock you may refer to the below article:

https://www.replicon.com/help/Punching-in-and-out-using-CloudClock/

Please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi
We have just migrated to Gen3 and would like the stop watch functionality. >20 users need this to track their time on a daily basis.
We have gone thru the punch and in-out functionality with Replicon but that does not over it.
Our users use the stop watch as a chrono to determine time spend in some cases and then manually enter the cell

Could this simple but very handy feature be released on Gen3, please?

thanks
Serge

Hello Serge,

Unfortunately, the stopwatch function is not available with the current Replicon System.

We suggest you try our punch based timesheets which will fulfill the purpose.

To know more about this we would suggest you refer to the below articles:

To know more about mobile app you may refer to the below article:

https://www.replicon.com/help/Punching-in-and-out-using-Replicon-Mobile/

To know more about Replicon Cloud clock you may refer to the below article:

https://www.replicon.com/help/Punching-in-and-out-using-CloudClock/

By using the mobile app and cloud clock with punch based timesheet can capture the exact time spent on every Project/Activity.

Please do let us know if you have any further questions.

Hi, please know that we have the same issue.
We have gone through the Punchin/Punchout  demo but this product does not address the needs of our company.
