We are needing to sort the time sheets alphabetically to prevent having to print and sort all time sheets before processing.

Hi Heidi,

I may be miss reading the issue above.

If you have a report called "timesheet list report" you can sort the report using the report settings,  selecting grouping by user.

Or alternatviley once you run the report press on the column header "User Name" which will sort the list alphabetically for you.

Hi Gabriel,

Thank you for sharing this solution, however, this is currently possible only on the Gen3 platform but not on Gen2. I see that Heidi's company is using the Gen2 platform.

Hi Heidi,

Thank you for posting your suggestion. Since this is on Gen2, on which except for bug fixes, no new features are being actively developed, I would like to suggest that as a workaround, it should be possible to construct a report that is similar to the Timesheet List report's format, using the Timesheet Hours Details template. This will then allow a variety of sorting options based on either user, timesheet period etc.

The Support team can reach out to you to help you configure this report in the required format.
Hope this helps.

Thanks and regards,
Naveen

Hi Heidi,

If you are referring to the comments entered by users in their timesheets as Notes, then that should be doable in the report. Comments is available as a separate column in the report that can be enabled from the Settings page in the report.
I have requested one of the Support specialists to help you set up this report.

I am hoping that we can make this work for you.

Thanks,
Naveen
