This week, we updated Replicon CloudClock for iOS and Replicon Mobile for Android, and added report columns to help you identify if punches were rounded. Plus, we changed who can reopen approved timesheets, made some small changes to what timesheets appear on the Team tab, and fixed some issues.

Update to CloudClock for iOS

Replicon CloudClock for iOS is now available in the Apple app store. It includes the following fixes:

  • If you disable Photo Capture Required in a punch entry policy and then a user assigned that policy scans in using a QR code, the app crashes
  • The screen occasionally freezes when users scan in

Update to Mobile for Android

Replicon Mobile for Android is now available in the Play store. It includes bug fixes and support for upcoming features.

Fields for identifying punch rounding

Punch Date/Time (UTC) and Punch Date/Time (Original) (UTC) columns are now available in the Time Punch Details report template. You can use these fields to:

  • Identify which punches weren’t automatically rounded (for example, if a shift wasn’t yet assigned at the time of the punch), to see if manual rounding is required before running payroll
  • Track rounding patterns per employee

Refinements to what timesheets are included on the Team tab

We released some small changes to what timesheets appear on the Team tab. You can read more about these changes in the feature preview we posted a couple of weeks ago.

Approvers without reopen permission won’t be able to reopen approved timesheets

Now, only supervisors and managers with explicit reopen permission will be able to reopen approved timesheets. Find out more details by reading the feature preview.

Fixed issues

  • If a payroll manager has Time Off > View permission, a permission error occurs if they go to Payroll > Time Off > Time Off Balance, even though they should be able to view this tab
  • If the last supervisor in a multi-approver path edits and then resubmits a timesheet whose template has the Reopen timesheet after approval option disabled, the timesheet owner can reopen the timesheet
  • Comma decimal separators in reports aren’t exported to XML as periods
  • Using the Replicon Mobile apps, administrators can edit and delete punches even if the assigned punch policy doesn’t allow editing of time
