Rejecting time entries in in-out timesheet template

Hi All,

We use the in-out timesheet template and we've got a problem when rejecting time entries:
It's hard to identify which time entries were rejected since we only have the comments box available.

My idea is to:
1. Allow a project manager to pick the time entries he wants to reject and place a comment in each
or
2. Increase the size of the approve/reject comment box to increase the input and readability of the rejection comment.

We use the reject comment as a workaround to clearly identify the time entry (day+start hour+project) and comment on the reason to reject the timesheet. It would greatly improve our timesheet processing and resubmission if this process could be improved.

Thanks for any thoughts and improvements on this.

Regards,
Nuno

Hi Nuno

I understand your point about wanting to be clear specifically as to why you are rejecting the timesheet as a project manager.  The comment box has many rows of available text, can you comment more on what you see as the limitation of the comment box?  We will be looking at project manager approvals of timesheets in the near future though so definitely will keep your input in mind.

Thank you for providing us with your idea.

How about a screen shot option?

Hi,

One of my suggestions was to increase the visual size of the rejection box.
When we are rejecting and must point out all changes need to be made in a week, having only 3 lines visible is not enough.
Please look at the following example:

If we had more lines it would be easier to copy paste, identify and read the entire text. It's a simples suggestion about making a small change in the UI.

My other suggestion is more complex. We want to be able to identify in the rejection process, next to each time entry, the ones we are rejecting and give a proper comment there.

Thanks for your time.

Regards,
