Project Manager can't see some timesheets?

One of our project managers noticed that she was unable to see some timesheets for her project resources. She had previously been able to see them in her list, and had opened and made changes to them. I thought perhaps it was because the system automatically approved them on her behalf when she saved her changes and maybe she was just looking in the wrong spot. However, I logged in as her and was not able to see the timesheets in question anywhere, not under All or Approved or Waiting for Others. The only way I was able to make those timesheets viewable to her again was by reopening and resubmitting them as an admin. This issue has so far only occurred with timesheets submitted for the week of May 22. I verified that she is listed in the approval paths for these employees and as I mentioned she had previously been able to view them. Just wondering if this is a glitch or if anyone knows what could be causing the issue.

Because of the changes the project manager made to the timesheets, is it possible that the approval path is setup so that the timesheet is delivered to another approver prior to it being forwarded to the project manager for approval ? (Maybe it will appear once other approvers perform their actions ?)

We don't use steps in our approval paths. All approvers are supposed to have access at the same time.

The issue was never technically explained or resolved but to my knowledge it hasn't happened again. If it happens again, I will update this thread.
