We are trying to limit a PM role so a PM cannot change any project info once the project has been created.  Anyone have any experience with this?

Hi John,

Thank you for using Replicon community,

Is it that the projects will be created by someone else? and the said PM will only need view access to such projects?

If projects are created by someone else, then create a new/edit the project manager permission to ensure 'Edit' is unchecked under 'All Projects' as shown in the screenshot below, enabling 'Edit' for my projects is optional, this will basically allow PM to create projects.

Result:

Let me know if that helps.

Thanks,
Lingaraj

Yes, the projects are created centrally and then we want the PM to have access to add/delete team members and view details about the defined project.

Hi John,

Right now, if you enable Edit Team sub-permission under All Projects, then PM's will also be able to edit the fields in the project info page. Are you looking at an option where PM's are not allowed to edit the data in the Project Info page as well?

Thanks,
Lingaraj

I think the problem  is that under My Projects, you can't allow the PM to edit the "Team" without the system defaulting the ability to edit the "Projects".  You can't click Team on without the other being turned on.

I can see that too. I have marked this as an idea and forwarded the same to PM team.

Thanks,
