Overlapping values

Trying to add another supervisor to a user, get the error message "supervisor cannot have overlapping values". What does this mean and how do I correct it so I can add the additional supervisor?

Hi,

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

In Replicon when adding a new supervisor you might get an error 'Supervisor must not have overlapping values'. This occurs if the start and end dates of two different supervisors have an overlapping Start or End dates. 

A user profile cannot have more than one active supervisors assigned with overlapping start or end dates. Hence you need to ensure that the start or end dates of supervisors do not overlap with each other.

To resolve the issue:- 

- Login into Replicon as Administrator.

- Go to Users > Edit user profile.

- Advanced > General > Supervisor > 'Edit Historical Supervisors' remove any overlapping dates as shown in the screenshots below:-
