Over Due Time Sheet Pop-Up Reminder

Hello!

A few of my co-workers and I were talking and we felt it would be a GREAT add-on if when a user opened their time sheet, if they had an overdue time sheet that a pop-up window would come up alerting them that they are overdue. Also great would be if that pop up window sai something like "You are on time sheet 'xxx'." It is completely user error but we find users often wil enter time into the wrong week or forget they have not entered their time despite the nagging notifications we send them on a weekly basis. 

Even if the pop-up reminder was customizable and I could send alerts to staff this way it would be a great addition!

Not sure if this would be helpful in your situation, but one with administrative rights could setup "Default Timesheet to Display" as "earliest Unsubmitted Timesheet".
The configuration is located under Administration, Employees and Organization & User Settings (Timesheets.)
This setting will force the earliest unsubmitted timesheet to be displayed upon login.

I agree with John and second his solution to this issue.

Below are the steps in detail: 
  • Login as Administrator, go to Users > Click on the required user > Click on Login as 
        
  • Click on gear wheel icon on the top right hand corner
  • Click on Settings
        
  • Go to Timesheets 
  • From the drop down select 'Earliest Unsubmitted Timesheet'
  • Click on Save.
     


          

Unfortunately, this cannot be updated in a mass way to all the users and needs to be done either by users themselves or the admins.
