One report with time off and overtime hours?

Cannot seem to create one report that contains both time off hours/type and overtime hours.  The Timesheet day template contains time off hours/type but not overtime hours, and the Timesheet Period template contains overtime but not time off hours/type.  Any solution to getting both of these pieces of information in one report?

Hi Alfred,

Thank you for using Replicon community

Currently, all the columns are not available in a single place. I have marked this as an idea & will be reviewed by our PM team.

Thanks

Hi Alfred,

Trying using Timesheet Period Details report. Then in the custom column section look for the Time Off option. Let me know if this does the trick for you or if you encounter any other issues.

Thanks,
Jon

Thanks for the response.  Not sure what you mean by the Time Off option within the custom column section. There is a TotalTimeOffHrs field, which is also one of the predefined columns. But I do not see the TimeOffType, which is also information I need.  Basically I am just trying to get one report that we can use to run payroll, but to do this I need to see the total hours, overtime hours, and hours for the different time off options such as vacation, holiday, sick.

Hi Alfred,

It seems like we should have something like this available but it looks like, as you've found, none of our reports can do this. I have a couple of suggestions for you, which may or may not be feasible:

1. Set up a unique pay code for each time off type. Then, when you run the Timesheet Period report, you'll be able to see a breakdown by time off type, via the pay codes. For example, you could create a pay code called "Vacation" and associate it to your "Vacation" time off type. Then the report will show the hours under the "Vacation" pay code.

2. If your overtime calculations are fairly simple, you could create a custom column in the Timesheet Day template to calculate the overtime. This only really works if your overtime is simple such as hours > 40 = overtime.

Let me know if either of these would work. In the meantime, I'll put this on the list to consider during our planning sessions.

Thanks,
Charlene

Thank you. Unfortunately we can no longer use the Overtime feature since Replicon just removed this from our configuration without any notice, apparently based on a license 'upgrade' we did 5 months ago.

Thanks for the update. Looking at our records, it looks like your company decided to discontinue use of our TimeAttend product. If your organization decides they'd like to look at our TimeAttend product again or if you have questions or suggestions for the functionality you are still using, please contact us at anytime.

We actually upgraded to use TimeBill and TimeOff, and it was not clear that we would lose some functionality by doing this. Also the upgrade was performed in May and after that was complete the overtime functionality was present.  It was only months later, after we were using the functionality and had business processes dependent on it, that it mysteriously disappeared without any warning or notice. It's really not acceptable for functionality to be removed behind the scenes months after an implementation has been tested and rolled out.

Hi Alfred,

It seems like we have had some misunderstanding related to your implementation of TimeBill and TimeOff, as those products don't have payroll functionality.  I will have someone from our customer team contact you offline.

Thanks
Joanne
