1. Is there any documentation on how to use Replicon, I guess when this was sold there were some user guides from Replicon? 2. What reports can we get out of Replicon and how, for example I would like to be able to; a. See time inputted for the day / week by user against each project b. Overall inputted time against a project, by task c. Overall inputted time against a project, by user, by task 3. Can we manage what tasks appear in Replicon or are these dictated by the US – or can we disable these? 4. Are we able to force users to complete time entry each day or every other day at least?

Hi Nicholas,

Please find answers to your questions below:-

1. Is there any documentation on how to use Replicon, I guess when this was sold there were some user guides from Replicon?

Ans: You can access all the documentation at http://www.replicon.com/customer-zone2/product-documentation.

2. What reports can we get out of Replicon and how, for example I would like to be able to;

a. See time inputted for the day / week by user against each project
b. Overall inputted time against a project, by task
c. Overall inputted time against a project, by user, by task

Ans:

To setup the below reports you must log into Replicon as Administrator and go to Reports tab.

a. See time inputted for the day / week by user against each project

- Report based on Timesheet Hours Day template (eg.,Timesheet Detail report) will allow you to get the required data. Go to Timesheet Detail report settings and enable the following columns: Username, Entry Date, Week (Entry Date) & Project Name. Grouped by Project Name. Select User, Date Range and Project filters from the filters tab. You can use the Save As option to save this report as a public or private report.

b. Overall inputted time against a project, by task

- Report based on Project Status template (eg., Project Status report) will allow you to get the required data. Go to Project Status report settings and enable Project Name, Task Name and Total Hrs columns, you can group it by task name. Select the Date Range and Project filters from the filters tab. You can use the Save As option to save this report as a public or private report.

c. Overall inputted time against a project, by user, by task

- Again report based on Project Status template (eg., Project Status report) will allow you to get the required data. Go to Project Status report settings and enable User Name, Project Name, Task Name and Total Hrs columns, you can group it by username and task name. Select the Date Range and Project filters from the filters tab. You can use the Save As option to save this report as a public or private report.

3. Can we manage what tasks appear in Replicon or are these dictated by the us – or can we disable these?

Ans: Yes, to ensure users don't have access to all the projects/tasks on their timesheets, you need to assign individual users to each tasks. Ensure <All> is removed from the Allowed section at the task level and only Users are assigned from the Available section.

4. Are we able to force users to complete time entry each day or every other day at least?

Ans: Under Administration > Communications > E-mail Notifications > Daily Reminder - Fill in Timesheet can be enabled globally and in the users profiles to remind users to log into Replicon to fill in time.

Should you need assistance with any of the steps above feel free to contact our support team available 24x7.

Thanks,

Lingaraj
