Links to inside the replicon

Hello,
We have the time tracking area setup and it includes notifications.  Within these notifications there are links where one of them is "$URL" and that takes you to the time entry area.  We are now implementing expenses and when I add the "$URL" link to expense approval notifications, it still takes me to the time entry tab.  I am waiting on an email response to why this functions this way (so far by design is all I have).  What would it take to get another tag/link where it would take you to a relevant area (when it is an expense approval email -- how about the link going to the team window for approvals, or at a minimum, when it is an expense email - how about the expense area)

Any other thoughts on this??

Hi!

We've implemented a workaround. We use hard coded urls. Example:
https://eu1.replicon.com/<company name>/team/approvals

This is not the best solution and it requires that we maintain the correct end-point, but it solves our problem.

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

We are building a new notification engine which will be script based and will allow you to setup custom notifications. However, for you we do recommend you to use the workaround suggested by Nuno above. 

I will update this post once we have news on the availability of the custom notifications. I have also forwarded your idea to our product management team.

Hi Chris,

As Aashnee mentioned, we've been working on a new version of our notification engine. The new notifications will include URLs that go directly to the appropriate page. I'll mark this as Planned as we'll update here when this is available to our customers.
