Idea - Ability to create monthly project tasks more easily

Currently I am in the middle of creating monthly tasks for a three year project. There are five tasks for each month, which I have to enter individually. That's 180 tasks to create for just the one project. I've been working on it for several hours already and am only done with the first year's tasks.

It would great if Replicon could configure an option that would let me set up a task to automatically generate each month, including assigning to resources and populating the date range. For example, our project started this month and runs until June 2022. In a perfect world, I could create one task but set it to be monthly through that end date with the same resources allocated. Would save a LOT of time. Setting up recurring tasks doesn't seem like something that would be difficult to implement. Hope Replicon will consider it!

I was able to create a spreadsheet with all the data and upload it to the project successfully, however it reorganized all of the tasks into alphabetical order for some reason. Is there a way to avoid doing this? I really need them to remain in the order they appear in the spreadsheet.

I use a numbering system, but that's only successful for tasks up to 9. 1 - Task Name; 2- Task Name, etc. I'm with you, I have a particular order I want them in. That could totally be a Replicon improvement, load the tasks in the order they appear on the upload.

If only we were able to sort the tasks within the project by clicking start date. That seems pretty basic.

Really, the ability to sort the task screen at all should be an option. Dragging tasks used to be pretty functional, but seems to be limited these days, and again, not something you want to have to do repeatedly.
