How do I create a user without a license who can login and view employee timesheets. This person will not be entering time for themselves.

This user will be an admin who will view employee timesheets for invoicing. This employee will be entering time for themselves. So we would like an admin account that we won't have to purchase a license for.

Hi Ken,

Thank you for using Replicon Community!

If a user wishes to see the timesheets of other users then he should have access to Payroll/Billing/Team information. As an admin you can only configure the system not view the time details. For all the other access you will need a license to be added.

Thanks,
Aashnee

Unfortunately that does not work. I set the role to Payroll Manager and removed Administrator, but Replicon still shows an error when logging in saying that the user does not have a license.

How can I achieve this?

Hi Ken,

A user with only admin permission does not require a license. All other permissions including Payroll Manager need a subsequent license assignment

That is not true. When I set the permissions to only Administrator with no other permissions or roles, this person cannot login. The error message states that the user needs a license.

HI Ken,

The license and Permission in combination provide you the access to operate a functionality in Replicon. As an admin you get a message as you have not been assigned any license but if the user clicks on Administration there will be no interruption in accessing the functionalities.
