Hi Laura,

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

Steps to add yourself as a substitute user are as follows:-

Step 1: Check and confirm 'Assign Substitute Users' is enabled for the Basic User permission assigned in your profile.

  • Log into Replicon as Administrator.
  • Click on the Administration tab from the top menu.
  • Click on 'Permission Sets' under Employees and Organization section.
  • Click on the permission based on User permission type, eg., Basic User.
  • Ensure 'Assign Substitute Users' is enabled as shown in the screenshot below:

Step 2: Assign yourself as a substitute user by logging in as that user.

  • Log into Replicon as Administrator.
  • Click on the Administration tab from the top menu.
  • Click on Users under Employees and Organization section.
  • Select the user who you want to Substitute.
  • Click on Login as.... Link located below the Gear icon at the top right corner of the screen.
  • Once you are logged into the users profile, click on the Gear icon located at the right end of the top menu.
  • Click on Settings in the drop down.
  • In the Substitute Users section, click on the Add Substitute User under Substitute Users as shown in the screenshots below:-

  • Log out and back in again, click on the substitute icon next to the gear wheel icon to login as a substitute.

Note: Forward E-mail notifications will be enabled by default for the substitute user and cannot be disabled at the moment. Eg., if a Timesheet is approved for the user the substitute user will get the notification too.

Thanks, Lingaraj
