Estimated Hours with PTO Report

We would like to be able to create a report in Replicon that looks similar to the resource allocation page, showing for each user both the estimated project hours as well as the PTO booked. I haven't been able to find a report to pull this data together. It would also be useful to pull in a field showing how much PTO each resource still has available during the time period. This is useful in order to determine how many project hours (and thus revenue also) can be expected for the upcoming months based on availability and PTO.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for using the Replicon Community!

May I request you to create a new report with Category set to Resource and Report Type set to "Resource Template". Include the following fields:

User Name
Entry Date
Estimated Hours (Selected Date)
Timeoff hours

Please do feel free to let me know in case my understanding differs your issue

Thanks,
Aashnee

Also, I am not seeing a "Timeoff Hours" field/column choice in that Resource Template...

Thanks,
Amy

You have one that is "Timeoff taken hours (selected dates)".

If you then choose "Week start date" and group columns by it you get a very similiar report to the resource allocation screen.

hummmm... weird.
This is something that Replicon Support must be able to solve.

Good luck!

Hi Aashnee!

This is a very interesting report! The only thing I find missing is the project information.

Is it possible to add the project name to this report template?

Thanks,
Nuno

I agree, if we can get the project info on the estimated hours line, then we would have everything we need. Thanks!

Hi Amy,

Thank you for reporting the issue. Please check the "Resource Payroll Data" option is checked under the Resource manager permission that is assigned to you

Thanks,
Aashnee

Aashnee,

As you can see, I have full access to the Resource Manager permissions and Payroll Manager permissions but I cannot see the Timeoff Hours in the report as you suggested. Could you please help or have someone else contact me to assist?

Also, if it is not possible to get the report as I need, please put me in contact with someone who can provide a quote on the cost of creating a customized report for us (resource allocation details with time off bookings and balances). Thanks!

Hi Amy,

I see that the "Resource Payroll Data" permission is missing from your "Resource Manager Permission" screen. Which is not allowing you to see the "TimeOff taken hours (selected dates)" Column in the report. This could happen if the TimeAttend license is not added to your instance or to your user profile.

I would like to know the licenses assigned to your user profile. Could you, please share the screenshot.

Regards,

Isaiah Madem

Here is a screenshot of my licenses. I don't have Time Attend but if it would allow us greater reporting capabilities, we may like to add a few of those licenses. Please advise.

Hi Amy,

Thank you for your prompt response.

As your instance does not have TimeAttend license you do not have the option to select "TimeOff taken hours (selected dates)" in the resource report. I shall ask your Amount Manager to contact you for further assistance with respect to adding TimeAttend Licenses.

Regards,

Isaiah Madem
