Don't allow Time Off Overdraw to carry over to new year.

We allow up to 40 hours of PTO to carry over to the next year. We allow Overdraw of PTO up to 40 hours. However, we do not want to allow PTO requests to be submitted when the employee's Year End Estimate that is less than 0.00. I.e., we only want Overdraw allowed while employees can still replenish it through accrual in the same year.

We are working around some scenarios to cater for Year End Overdraw situations. I will discuss internally and update you with the details accordingly.

Hi Tony,

We discussed the internally and confirmed that the we are looking around the following scenario to be accomplished

As a user you can go into negative if your year end balance is not getting into your overdraw limit.

For example - If your overdraw is set to 0. And you are planning to book a time off in June which will make your balance go to -8. However, you have monthly accruals and hence you will accrue enough for your year end balance to be 24. The system in this situation will allow you to take the June time off as you are not going beyond 0 as per the year end balance. 

You will have the access to set the year end overdraw as per your requirement.
