The system needs a way to show both days and hours or allow by country or pay group to select what display to have. When having a multi company and muli country organization it is hard to meet everyone's requirements with a system wide setting such as this.

Hello Jill,

Thank you for posting your query in Replicon Community.

Are you referring to days and hours to be displayed on the timesheet?

Please give us a little bit more information about your requirements and we will be more than happy to look into your requirements.

Regards,

Vinodh. V

Hello Jill,

Thank you for the response.

Our application gives the Administrators the flexibility to create the Time off-types in days or hours.

If you want some part of the users to have hours and some to have days, you may create two Time off-types (one with hours and another one with days)and then assign them as per the requirement.

When setting up time off:

The output for hours:

The output for Days:

I do understand your suggestion to display the time off balances based on the view preferred by the user.

This is a great suggestion and i have looped in our PM team on this thread to review your suggestion.

We do appreciate your time and effort to create this post.

Regards,

Hi Jill,

While we do allow different time off types to have different units, we avoid converting between hours and days within a single time off type. To calculate hours from days, or days from hours, we need to use the user's schedule for the day. However schedules can vary day to day, can change frequently, and may not even exist, which makes it difficult to do this reliably.

In your case, I would recommend using different time off types for different countries so you can set the units as needed.

Thanks,
Charlene
