We are wanting to bill a client a daily rate for each day worked no matter how many hours the employee works.  One week he works 12 hours a day, one week he works 10 hours a day and another week he works 3 8-hour days and 2 12-hour days.  Currently, Replicon takes the total hours for the week and divides it by the number of hours set in the schedule.  I have tried assigning different schedules to each day and still cannot get the bill the reflect 5 days at the daily rate no matter what number of hours he works each day.

Hi Christine,

Before we proceed I would like to confirm as to how would you like a day to be defined. Ideally, the daily rates are based on a day calculation for specified number of hours contributing to a day. So we would like to understand if your day should be considered from 12:00 AM to 11:59 PM

I need a similar function.  Daily rate is still being used on a time material basis and the daily billing is being calculated off of the hours entered versus the project  Hours for Daily Rate parameter.  If we are using a daily rate for a project, then we should be charging that daily rate to the customer regardless of the hours entered below or above our project  Hours for Daily Rate.  There is no current use for a daily rate the way the system is setup up.
