Automatically Submit Zero Hour Time Sheets

We have a number of employees that work in more of a per diem fashion. They may work for us for 2 months straight, then nothing for 6 months, then for another month, just depending on what jobs are available near them, etc. While they are not working, they get the emails “Your time sheet is due” and a 0 hour time sheet has to be submitted. For one employee, we disabled them in Replicon, but when they were re-enabled, they got a flood of “Your time sheet is due” messages for all the time sheet period while they weren’t working. What options do we have to not have to submit 0 time sheets while someone is not working?

Hi Andy,

Thank you for using Replicon Community.

The best option here would be to enable the "Auto-submit timesheet on due date" option in the Timesheet template assigned to these users and change the send message time to "1 day after the due date" in the Timesheet is due notification.

By enabling this option these users timesheets can be automatically submitted based on the timesheet's due date (time with or without hours). This submission will happen based on the user's time zone set.

NOTE :

The Timesheet's Due date can be changed under Timesheet settings and this change will impact all users.

Thanks,
