Auto-Repeat Overdue Timesheet Notification

We have some users who are repeatedly late in submitting their timesheets despite receiving the Auto-Notification.

We currently have it set to send out the reminder 1 day after the timesheet is due, but I would like to know if there is a way to have this Auto-Notification repeated daily to those that are still outstanding and overdue after the initial Auto-Notification has been sent.

If there's no way at present - could this question be converted into an "Idea" for future development?

Hi Stephen,

I just tested this and can confirm that currently users will get a daily overdue reminder email after the initial email.

We will need to investigate as too why this is not the case with your instance. Let me know if we can connect with you and trouble shoot this further?

Thanks for looking at this - it's not something that I have personally tested as I'm never overdue :-) but I was suspecting that some staff were either not getting additional reminders or, as it now seems, were simply ignoring them.

Stephen: If it helps, you can go a step further and create a repeat offenders report for submittal in Gen3. (I recall Gen2 already had the report as an option).  Instructions for Gen3 were posted in this community.

Yes, I will check from the email server logs and further confirm as too how many overdue reminders have been triggered on your instance.

"email server logs" ... Sure wish I were able to check this log from a report on an as needed basis.

Hello Lingaraj

For the just completed time sheet period (which for us ends on a Friday), our settings send out a message on the Friday reminding staff that their response is now due.

Then a further message goes out on the Sunday (next working day) after TS close date. I'm personally not submitting my own TS for last week to see what happens and will report back on Tuesday (after giving the system time to process).

The one thing I have not had is any feedback from my staff 'complaining' about the number of reminders - so I suspect that they're only ever getting one overdue message.

Pleased to report that my test has shown that the Overdue message IS repeated - looks like I have some educating to do with those users continually failing to respond to them :-(
