I would think that once a project has been archived, the system would not allow allocations of users to that project

Hi Jason,

Thank you for using Replicon Community!

I agree to the fact that it should not be allowed to enter team members for an archived project. However, may be look at the following scenario:

Any project that is archived is by default made unavailable for selection in any timesheet and what if you want to use this project at a later point of time? Say you have archived it only for the time being and want to assign your temporary resources to this who will work only when the project is back in progress. Having said this, I am not denying the fact that it should allow the assignment and I can have my product management team look through this and provide a more clearer explanation.

Thanks,
Aashnee

Hi Aashnee, I also had a similar question. When assigning resources in Project Management, I don't want to see all the archived projects as options. It is really hard to allocate when I have to look through all the old projects to find the in-progress project to assign the resource to. Please help resolve.

Hi Linda,

Thank you for using Replicon Community!

When you are on the resourcing tab and click on Add to Project, you will have a pop up coming up for selection. Assuming you are talking about this area, you can filter the projects based on the status:

You can filter this list for In Progress Projects and choose the allocation accordingly

Thanks,
Aashnee
