Visualizing project progress

If you use projects in Replicon, you’re probably aware that you can record hours and cost estimates for projects and tasks that can help you with project management and analysis.

But, how do you make the people working on projects aware of these estimates, short of sending them reports? And isn’t there a better, more immediate and graphical way to track progress than using number-heavy reports?

Progress graphs in timesheets are the answer to both of those questions. These small graphs display next to each project or task row in duration-based timesheets, showing the total hours worked by all team members vs the hours estimate.

Timesheet approvers can also see these graphs, so they can view progress each time they approve a timesheet.

These graphs can also:

  • Help supervisors and project managers manage time entry as estimates approach, so they comply with client agreements
  • Aid employees in choosing the correct task to enter time against
  • Help approvers validate time entry
Progress graphs are available in duration-based timesheets in both the new and legacy product suites. You can enable graphs in timesheet templates.

Hi Jean,

We don't have any current plans to add these graphs to in/out timesheets. If you haven't already, please submit this as an Idea posting, to ensure your interest in this feature is tracked.
