User Filter showing list of all employees in the Report.

When using a time off report, A user may see a list of users but when all is selected only those which directly report to the user is listed.

This can be misleading to the user as the report will not return all the users selected even though there is valid data to be returned e.g. people will have time off raised within the selected time period but only those directly reporting to the user will be listed.

It would be better if only those users reporting to the user is listed.

Hi,

Thanks for using Replicon Community and we appreciate your feedback here.

The Report filters / the data shown is based on the level of permission assigned to a user, hence based on the level of permission the data is displayed. The same is applicable to report filters.

We shall review this product feedback with our Product Management team and keep the status updated.

Thanks,
Raghu K

Hello,

With reference to the initial response to this post,we did further checks on this behavior and found the reason to your situation. (We have edited the initial response accordingly)

In General, the report data and its filter values would differ based on the permission sets that is assigned to a user. Higher/multiple permission set being assigned, would give more data access.

Example :
An end user permission would allow him/her to view their own data.
A Supervisor permission would allow him/her to view their own data + their reportees/approved user data (Timesheet/Timeoff/Expense)

However the system would continue to show the previous reportees names or previously approved user data names in the user filter, but that would shown based on the date range selected in the report.

For your ease within the user filter we have a sub-filter named "Supervisor", through which you can select a specific supervisor name and it will display only the current reportees assigned in the system.

Thanks,
Raghu K
