Updating billing rates for the new year.

We charge the same rates for each client. Do I need to change the billing rates at the client level, meaning for each client? I tried changing it through the administration page by changing the dollar value for the bill rate, but it didn't bring the new rates over. When I added a new rate name in administration that came over, but then I will have multiple rates for each level instead of just the current rate.

Hi Annette,

As discussed on the call, the rates once updated should be shown correctly under the client - billing rate section. We are investigating this and will keep you updated on the same.

Thanks,

Hi Annette,

As discussed with you, to ensure that the new rates don't affect the existing timesheet data, we recommend putting in the new rate amount at the client level with an effective date. This will ensure that the new rates will be effective only from the new timesheets. As for the new clients that are being created, you have already changed the rate at the admin level
