Unpaid days during probation or not accrued enough

What is the best way to handle when new employees during their probation period take days off but do not get paid. The ideal would be to show in the weekly timesheet reports the time off type without any hours. Currently a new time off type created for this purpose shows the hours in the timesheet report and this confuses the payroll department. Please suggest the best way to handle such situation. The same should be possible to show a holiday with zero hours during the probation period.

Hi Madhavan,

Thanks for using Replicon Community.

Our best solution here would be to use a custom column with a formula within the Weekly Timesheet report to show zero hour for a specific timeoff type when the report is run. Below is an example of the same.

IF(TimeoffType='sick',0,TotalHours)
