Hi,

Using the "department template" I can't figure out how to make the top-level department appear on the result.

It appears on the filter and is active.

Any suggestion?

Regards,
Nuno

Hi Nuno,

Thank you for using Replicon Community!

Have you tried pulling Primary Department Name column in the report?

Thanks,

Hi Aashnee!

I've got all the report template columns visible.

The top level department does not appear in the "Department Name" column.

Also, I've got a disabled department that keeps appearing on the result.
Take a look at the following:

(1) top-level department "i2S" does not appear in the results.
(2) the disabled department and inactive in the filter selection appears.

Thanks,
Nuno

Hi Nuno,

While the primary department should show up by all means, we can have a short call to discuss this further. Moving towards the disabled departments, this is by design. This has been made available for you to select or deselect disabled departments from your report depending upon your requirement.

Thanks,
Aashnee

Hi Aashnee!

Thanks for your reply.
Can we book the short call for this wednesday? You have my contact.

Regarding the disabled departments, I wasn't very clear:
The report is showing data from departments that are unchecked in the filter... I can show you this during the call.

Thanks!
Nuno

Hi Nuno,

Apologies for the delay in getting back to you.

The behaviour that you see is according to the system setup. The filter that you see here is for the primary department. The department that you check in the filter the report will show you all the sub departments of the same. So Example if your hierarchy says Level 1 - Level 2 - Level 3 and you have checked Level 1 and Unchecked Level 2 and 3 then the department column will show Level 2 and 3 in the report. Similarly if you onlny check Level 2 the report will show you Level 3 in the report.

Hope this answers your query.

Thanks,
Aashnee
