We have a timesheet validation rule in place, which is needed but it constantly appears at the top of the timesheet screen until the user completes their timesheet. It takes up room and users have to scroll down their timesheet before entering their data. Please can you install an option to either minimise it or have it showing at the bottom of the timesheet instead?

Hi Elaine,

Thanks for submitting your suggestion here, could you please upload a screenshot of the validation error, so that we can check this further.

Thanks,
Raghu K

Hi Raghu.

I included a web link to the screen shot in my post. Are you able to view it?

Thanks, Elaine

I've managed to do it here. I didn't think I could because the attachment button says that I have to "paste url". Can you get description changed so users know they can actually paste other items. Thanks.

HI Elaine,

Have you tried our custom timesheet template already? Is there something that is holding you back from getting upgraded to the customer timesheet template?

Hi Aashnee.

No I haven't because nobody from Replicon had advised that previously, even though I've had 4 different people from Replicon support contacting me about it saying to put it as an idea on here.

I don't have time at the moment to look at doing that. I still don't understand why an error message constantly appears at the top of the timesheet page, when the user hasn't made an error. In Gen2 the user would only get the error message if they tried to submit the timesheet with data missing. Please can you put my suggestion forward anyway for the next update?

Thanks, Elaine

Hi Elaine,

The enhancements regarding the error message have been done on our new timesheet template. We understand that you are preoccupied however, we would await some time from you in order to show you how the new template works and also help you with a trial where you can test the new timesheet before implementing it in the Replicon instance.

Thank,
Aashnee
