I was wondering if it is possible to add a Semi Monthly Payroll option considering the following??...
Our company runs Semi-Monthly payrolls on the 1st and the 15th... initial days of the period are always the 1st and the 15th (currently the closest option Replicon has is 1st and 16th).
I think having a timesheet that is +/- 14 days is to long as we would like to keep up on our employees to ensure they are entering info and submitting them on somewhat of a weekly basis.
This leads to the following a timesheet schedule that is based on a semi monthly payroll with the initial days always being 1st and the 15th, split into 4 weeklyish timesheets ie: 1st - 7th, 8th - 14th, 15th - 21st, and 22nd thru last day of month.
I believe this would also be helpful in billing through Replicon... in our current timesheet setup the begin/end of the period often fall in the middle of a timesheet period. Therefore, we have to wait until the end of the timesheet period before we can begin reviewing for billing. If you consider that sometimes the end of the period may have been at the beginning of the timesheet period, we would then have to wait the entire week plus a few days for employees to enter data and supervisor approval before we can begin billing. Also, if a timesheet needs to be reopened it then affects two different payroll periods rather than one.
Thanks for your consideration and look forward to your comments!
