Time Off setup audit report

We need a report that recaps all of the time off setup details for each user.  For example, effective date of policy, hours accrued, resets, max overdrafts, whether pro rated.  The in-house version of the product had this report but the on-line version does not.  It is very important for making sure all time off setups are consistent and no one made a mistake that could be costly.  Otherwise it is necessary to open each user then each time of type in turn, which is neither quick or easy.

Hi Marsha,

Thank you for using Replicon community,

We are reviewing your idea.

In the mean time you can check the policy details of a user by going to the Payroll tab > Time Off > Time Off Balances > click on any user to view the complete policy information as shown in the screenshot below:-

Hi Marsha,

Thank you for posting your suggestion.
The online version of the product is structured a little differently from the in-house version but I understand your concern with the usability of this aspect of the product.

We will review this requirement in future product planning sessions and look at how this can be enhanced, either by way of a Report or via other means. In the meanwhile, I think Lingaraj's excellent suggestion should help you verify user time off setups, in a relatively easier way, than having to open each user and each time off type.

Thank you again for posting.

Regards,
Naveen

Marsha's request would be extremely helpful to our company.
The method Lingaraj posted above is lengthy, especially when performing an audit of all employees.
As it is now, I am reyling on the employee to inform me of inaccurate policy settings.

Thank you.

I totally agree w/ Marsha Peters and John Findley.  I would be extremely helpful to get a report that recaps all of the time off setup details for each user.  For example, effective date of policy, hours accrued, resets, max overdrafts, whether pro rated.

We had a paid time off policy change.

After creating two new time off codes and manually moving the current available balances for the 100+ affected employees, I now realize that I may have not taken into consideration the bi-weekly accrual rate (hours earned) for employees with service of more than 5 years.

Seeing that there has not been any follow up activity to this post, I now am forced to review each of the employees individually to confirm their accrual rates.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated before I embark on another day's worth of time off configuration verifications.

Thank you.

Hi John,

I am checking with the concerned team if there are any other means of providing this information to you from the back end.

Thanks,
Lingaraj

Hi John,

We may be able to provide a dump of all the time off policies for all the users. This will require us involving other departments which means a cost would be associated with this.

Let me know if you want to talk to us on this and I can arrange for a call back.

Thanks,
Lingaraj

Lingaraj,

If I can see it, initiate it, and update it ... I should be able to report on it without involving other departments with an associated cost.

I do hope that this request is taken into consideration with regards to the updating of the new time off module.

Hi All,

Thank you for your input. Yes I agree its something we could make a lot easier. We are considering it for the future but as of right now we don't have any clear plans. I will update you if that changes.

Thanks, Karen

This would be beneficial for us as well. We have Time Off policy changes and being able to audit what each user has is a necessity. We have to run reports, drop them into pivot tables, and do comparisons to find the EEs that may need to be corrected. It has happened that the EE has already used a time off type they did not have and so then it becomes a liability issue.
