Time off setting for V1 version

We are using the V1 version for time off. We would like to be able to add a "Yearly Carry Over with Expiry" to a time off type. Apparently this is available on the Gen3 versions, however we do not want to make the change as Gen3 has some "glitches" that we do not like. Is it possible to get this feature added to V1?

Hi Carolyn,

Unfortunately, this is something that we have introduced only on our latest version of time off.

Hi Carolyn,

What are the concerns you have with moving to the latest version of time off? It offers many new features including expiry and accrual calculations based on the number of hours worked.

Thanks,
Charlene

The latest version forces you to choose between "hourly accruals" or "days".  We like the days version however you are limited to time off as 1/4 day, 1/2 day or full day.  What if you want to take 1 or 1 1/2 hours off?  We now have to switch to the "hourly" accrual.  Staff using the program now have to watch which category the time off falls under so they know how to enter.  Why can't the "days" option have "Partial day off" and allow you to enter the number of hours like the previous version?

We had the exact same problem. Only we were on version 6.7 (really, really old). Some features in the new Gen3 version are not nearly as good as the old 6.7 version. Why would you develop a new product and remove the good features in your previous versions. We just assumed we would have the same functionality as the old version. It is very frustrating!!
