Our employees often it the SUBMIT button instead of the SAVE button then we have to ask them to reopen.
It would be more intuitive if the buttons were switched.

Accidentally pressing the wrong button on the timesheet can be very annoying. While working on the next revision to our timesheets we have been trying to find better ways to prevent mistakes. We have tried different button orders as well as different positions, and found that while it improves the situation for some people others find it harder.

The solution which we found that worked the best was to get rid of the need to save entirely. By automatically saving changes as they are made users do not need to press save at all, eliminating the chance of pressing the wrong button.

We are getting ready to launch our latest timesheet revision, so this should be available soon (depending on the functionality you use).

It would be great if you can put the submit button is the bottom of the sheet. Somehow I keep press the submit bottom whenever I want to save or add new item. The location of current submit button is really annoying.

Hi Tiffany,

Thanks for your input. As Richard mentioned, we have been working on a new timesheet that autosaves, so users never have to reach for the Save button. We hope to make this available to our current customers in the coming months and I think this will help a lot with this issue. We look forward to you trying it out and letting us know!

That status bar that pops up when you save the timesheet and then try to add another task is the culprit - because it takes a second or so before it appears, and then it moves the submit button down into the position of the "Add Task" button...causing you to click it accidentally.

Instead, move that status popup to below the submit button, rather than above it - this will cause you to click on the status message rather than the submit button.

This will not mess with the current functionality of the site, but rather improve it - and from a programming perspective, it's just a line of code that needs to move up a bit...
