I would like to view the resource calendar by Project rather than user. This way if I have 30 30 projects I can view resource allocation from my team across all projects and identify resource overlaps or availability.

Hi Drew,

Thank you for posting your idea on the community.

We will have the PM team review the same.

Hi Drew,

There is a way to see resource allocation grouped by project. If you go to Placeholder resources tab on Resource Management UI and click on "Show assigned resources" checkbox, you will be able to view resources grouped by project.

Thanks,
Sangeet

Hi Sangeet!

Thanks for this tip!

I've tried it and it does not shows "all users". Is there a way to show projects that have "all users" in it?

Thanks,
Nuno

Hi Nuno,

We don't show "All Users" in the resource allocation views as the system doesn't support allocation for the "All Users" assignment.

However, you can use the Project Team Assignment report template to find all the projects with "All Users".  Include the Project Assignment Type and Department Name columns. "All Users" will be displayed as the Project Assignment Type "Department" with the Department Name set to the top-level department in the system.

For example, in my instance, the top level department is named "Company". You can see Automated Reporting & Dashboards shows the Company department is assigned, which is equivalent to "All Users".
