Reports: Excluding Null value fields from the report

I have created a report identifying Employee Comments on their time sheet.
I wish to exclude Null value comment fields.
The IsNull function is available. However, the IsNotNull or any variation of the function is not available.
Please advise how I may report on a field, excluding Null values.

Hi John,

Thank you for using Replicon Community

While you can't exclude the rows altogether, you can use the same function (IsNull) to show some other value instead of a blank cell. I have provided a formula which will show No Value wherever there is a blank comments cell.

IF(IsNull(Comments)=1,"No value","There is Value: "+comments)

Note: You can replace No Value & There is a Value with your own values. You can read about creating a custom column at this link.

Following this thread . . . . can we escalate a suggestion to your developers to exclude rows with null values?  I, too, share John's question.  We have a report that should be 2 pages, but expands to 13 pages when null value rows are included.  I have to add the extra step of exporting to excel - then sorting and deleting rows, then resorting and saving to email to management.  We need this to be an automated step to eliminate that redundant time, and so that reports can be emailed to management directly from replicon.

I agree with prior posters. Without the ability to suppress empty rows, reports are not only excessively long, they look confusing and unprofessional to report consumers.

Hello, all.  This is the same request that I posted yesterday; we need the ability to  suppress rows based on a certain condition so that reports can be sent directly from Replicon.  I love the ease with which reports can be created and updated, but am somewhat frustrated that I cannot conditionally include/exclude information.  Thank you.

This request has been here for nearly a year, with no resolution. When is the "new reporting/analytics platform" going to be available, which presumably will resolve many of the current reporting issues?
