This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS and added a button that lets you to force pay rule recalculation. We also added some options to default timesheet validation scripts, made a couple of changes involving new time off, and fixed an issue.

Update to Replicon Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the Apple app store. It includes bug fixes.

Option to force recalculation of timesheet pay rules

An Update Pay Calculations button is now available on the Payroll > Timesheets and Team > Timesheets list pages.

Previously, you had to modify timesheets to force recalculation of pay. This new button allows you to select all timesheets that require recalculation and then click the button to recalculate all items at once.

This new option is permission-based. Payroll managers and supervisors must have the Update Pay Calculations option enabled in their permission set for the button to be available to them. This permission is enabled by default for payroll managers with Timesheet > Edit permission.

Refer to Ensuring pay calculations are up to date for more information.

More information for users overriding time off validations

In new time off, if a supervisor or payroll manager submits a time off booking that includes a validation error, a message will now display on the booking stating they overrode validation, and indicating what validation they bypassed.

New options in timesheet validation rules

The following are now available in the default data for those using scripted validation rules:

  • An Overlapping Entries rule that prevents in/out entries from overlapping with each other
  • An option in the existing Workweek Hours rule that allows you to specify that time off is included as part of work hours, so validation doesn’t fail when employees are away

Small changes to time off policy cards

In new time off, we’ve made some changes to how the add and remove functions of time off policy cards are:

  • The new policy link has been replaced with a policy card, displaying a plus + icon, that is located under any existing policies
  • The Remove Policy link has been replaced with an  icon that displays when you hover over the right side of the card

Fixed issues

  • In timesheets that include a punch error, the details of the error may not display when you hover the cursor over the error message
