This week, we updated Replicon CloudClock, launched the first phase of our multi-factor authentication feature, and fixed an issue.

Multi-factor authentication (MFA)

Multi-factor authentication (MFA) is an extra-layer of protection for accounts, beyond a password. With this update, we’ve added password-based authentication; note that a temporary one-time password (TOTP) option will be available soon.

With password-based authentication, when a user attempts to log in, they’ll be emailed a code that they’ll need to enter into the login field before authentication will proceed.

You can choose to either require email authentication every time the user logs in, or to specify a re-verification frequency. Note that email authentication only works with Replicon authentication.

Refer to Setting up multi-factor authentication (MFA) for more information on how MFA works in Replicon and on how to set it up.

Update to CloudClock for iOS

Replicon CloudClock for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes support for our Daylight Savings Time changes.

Fixed issues

  • If you have a timesheet template and have access to timesheet reports for other users, you may be able to see pay rate amounts for those users in reports
