This week we updated Replicon CloudClock for iOS, released a new CloudClock monitoring tool, changed the aggregation options for some reports, and fixed a couple of issues.

Update to CloudClock

Replicon CloudClock is now available in the Apple app store. It includes fixes to the following issues:

  • The Cloudclock screen may time out if you attempt to check your time off balance and you have a lot of time off bookings in the system
  • The CloudClock may freeze if you attempt to scan in and the screen times out
  • If a punch includes a value entered into a custom field, that value may not be saved to Replicon
  • Custom field values are not saved when entered in offline mode

CloudClock monitoring page

If you’re a CloudClock administrator, you can now monitor the status of your clocks using the Manage CloudClocks page in Replicon.

You can use this page to view your clocks’ connectivity and unsent punches – both the current status of each and graphical trends over time. The graphs can help you confirm that your clocks are online and syncing as expected. And, if you’re experiencing issues, they can give you insight into why those issues may be occurring.

The Manage CloudClocks page also allows you to view other information, such as current app and OS versions, about all of your clocks from a single location.

To view this page, go to Administration > System and Security > ManageCloudClocks. Refer to Monitoring the status of your CloudClocks for more information on this feature.

Fixed issues

  • An error may occur if you attempt to unassign a license for a product if all licenses in the system are fully assigned
  • If you have projects set to display by project code in your timesheets and a project code is changed, the projects may no longer show in alphabetical order
  • If you’re assigned a Canadian pay rule that associates unpaid time off with two time off types, one of which is vacation time, and then you enter time against each of those types in a timesheet, only time for the first booking will be saved under the unpaid time off pay code

Other changes

  • For technical reasons, we’ve removed the minimum and maximum aggregation options from all non-base currency columns in reports
