This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, made a small improvement, a small change to a report, and fixed a few issues.

Upcoming product changes

We’ll soon be updating the Supervisor, Hourly Payroll Rate, and Department fields on the main user profile page when you add a user; the Department field will be searchable, and the other two fields will offer improved usability and better performance in certain scenarios.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes the following improvements:

  • The app now supports native resolution for iPhone 6 and higher
And these fixes:

  • If the system-level Reimburse column for expenses is disabled, all expenses are marked as not reimbursable when entered in the mobile app, whereas if they’re entered via the web app, they’re marked as reimbursable. We updated the mobile app to match the web app behavior.
  • In some cases, when searching for a client to enter expenses against, the client name cannot be found
  • In a limited case, duplicate punches are recorded intermittently when using the mobile app
  • You may get a ‘Punches With Errors’ message stating your punches were not saved to Replicon if you punched out after running the app in the background
  • Unnecessary pop-ups display if you bring the app from the background to foreground when launching it

  • If you’re on an administration page and your Replicon session times out, the Company field on the login page you’re taken to will now be populated with your company’s name

Fixed issues

  • A project whose allocations are set to update as of a given effective date may still be displayed under an old client after that effective date
  • You can only preview office schedules one year into the future from the pattern start date
  • If a user has a time distribution grid timesheet set to display their earliest submitted timesheet, when they submit a timesheet with a validation error, the next timesheet displays rather than the one with the error
  • When a supervisor without timesheet edit permissions attempts to load a configurable timesheet using Replicon Mobile, they get an error

  • We’ve removed the User columns from the Project Task Hierarchy report template since they’re out scope of the report’s intended purpose
