This week, we added client rep approvals functionality for those using configurable timesheets and we published a change involving scheduled reports owned by disabled users. Plus, we added a new option for filtering expense data and added a new scheduling display option.

Client representative approval of configurable timesheets

You can now use our client rep approvals functionality with configurable timesheets. This feature was already available for legacy timesheet users.

Client rep approvals allow clients to log in to Replicon and view and approve timesheets for their projects only. This feature makes it easy for you to allow your clients to approve project hours before billing, when they can be easily corrected, without exposing other confidential data to them.

This functionality is now available in TimeBill Plus and Professional Services Automation, and remains available in TimeBill and RepliconPSM.

Scheduled reports from disabled users won’t be sent

If a user sets up a scheduled report and is later disabled, the report schedule will now be disabled, too, and the scheduled report will no longer be sent. If recipients still need information from a report schedule that has been disabled, they can recreate the schedule.

Option to choose if report data is filtered by expense data or expense entry date

We’ve added a Filter Expense By sub-filter to the Date Range filter in the Client and Project report templates. This gives better visibility into how values in the Actual Expense columns are determined, and allows you to control what data those columns display.

Note that what those fields show is unchanged in existing reports, and the new filters default to the selection representing the existing behavior – reports based on the Project template are still filtered by expense date by default; in the Client template, columns are filtered by expense entry date by default.


  • We’ve added a new color picker that administrators can use when creating or editing shifts. It offers more color options and allows you to select custom colors.
