This week we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, added a time off in lieu option, and fixed a couple of issues.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes.

Option to deposit time off in lieu as soon as overtime is entered

Replicon’s time off in lieu feature allows users to convert their earned overtime into time off, rather than being paid for it. Previously, users were granted their time off only when their overtime timesheet was approved. Now, you can choose to let users access that time off as soon as they enter overtime hours in their timesheet, before that overtime is submitted or approved.

This option useful for select customers who offer compensatory time off that expires quickly, to ensure employees have time to use the rest time they’ve earned.

Refer to Setting up time off in lieu for more information.

Note: Under typical usage, we don’t recommend using this new option since it risks employees taking time off based on invalid, unapproved overtime.

Fixed issues

  • When adding an invoice, if you add a client and line items, then click the x to remove the client, the Total Payment Due amount still displays
  • When you try to access a user’s time off transaction history, the page may time out if the history is very long

Choosing your default timesheet

Did you know that each Replicon user can choose which of their timesheets displays by default? They can opt to have either their current timesheet or their last unsubmitted timesheet display.

Administrators might want to encourage employees to choose the Earliest Unsubmitted Timesheet option, to promote submission of overdue timesheets.

Refer to Choosing with timesheet is shown by default for information on configuring this setting.
