This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, launched our SSO with OpenID Connect feature, released an out of the box integration for Sage Financials, and fixed a few issues.

SSO with OpenID Connect

We now support single sign-on (SSO) via third-party applications based on the OpenID Connect standard – we previewed this change on Nov 8.

This means you can now use one of our pre-configured providers – available for Google, Intuit, and ADP. Or, you can create your own solution using any third-party provider supported by OpenID Connect.

Note that, as part of this feature, we’ve added an alternative login page, available by clicking the Try our new login page link on the existing login page.

Use of this new page is:

  • Optional for all non-SSO users, and for Intuit and Google SSO users; all of those users may log in via the old or new pages
  • Mandatory for anyone who logs in using SSO via a third-party OpenID Connect provider (with the exception of those using Google or Intuit as providers)
Refer to Setting up single sign-on for more information on setting up a provider, or on using one of our out of the box options.

Integration with Sage Financials

We’ve launched an integration with Sage Financials that allows you to transfer accounts, opportunities, and users from Sage Financials to Replicon. Once opportunities are transferred, you can use Replicon to plan your work, track progress, and bill clients.

Refer to Transferring data from Sage Financials to Replicon for more information on setting up this integration.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes and app stability improvements.

  • We’ve added a default triple time and a half (3.5x) pay code to the system, which is used in places like Costa Rica

Fixed issues

  • For some customers using new time off, even if a supervisor or payroll manager has permission to override validation on behalf of other users, they’re still prevented from submitting bookings that include validation errors.

For affected users, the assigned override validation setting will now start working, allowing them to create bookings that include validation issues. (This change was previewed on Jan 15.)
  • Supervisors who have permission to override validation errors when booking time off on behalf of others can also, erroneously, submit bookings with validation errors when booking their own time off
  • The Payroll > Time Off page may time out while loading for managers assigned both Payroll Manager and Schedule Manager permissions, who also have groups access assigned
