This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, added a Show all options link to the mobile app, and fixed a couple of issues. Also, note the details of an upcoming change we’re making that’s related to the Clear All option on timesheets.

Upcoming product change: Timesheet-level custom fields will soon clear when you click Clear All

Here’s a small heads up related to an upcoming change in behavior on timesheets. Currently, if you click the Clear All button on a web or mobile timesheet, any timesheet-level custom fields are not cleared. But soon, we’ll be fixing this issue, so all custom field values will disappear when you clear the timesheet. So, if you’ve been relying on those fields to remain populated after clearing, take note.



Show all options link in Replicon Mobile for iOS

Those using Replicon Mobile for iOS now have the Show all options link, which was previously only available in CloudClock and Android mobile.

By default, the app shows you the punch options that suit the current context (for example, a Clock Out button, if you’re punched in). However, in some cases, you might require a button that is not shown. Say, for example, you forgot to punch out and your company requires you to make only time-accurate punches. Then, you’d need a Clock In button, not a Clock Out button (and your manager can add the missing punch later).

Now, in cases like this, you can choose the Show all options link, and all possible punch buttons will display.



Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS 1.1.45.0 is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes.

Fixed issues

  • For those using the Accrual Based on Hours Worked or Accrual Based on Paid Hours time off accrual rules, if a user’s employment end date falls before the end date for their final timesheet period, any time off they accrued during that period is not paid out
  • If you attempt to open a timesheet you approve via Replicon Mobile, this error may occur: You do not have access to perform this operation. Please refresh your app data. If that does not resolve the issue, contact your Admin.
