This week, we added a new rule to punch entry policies, changed the behavior of the Reimburse column for expenses for Replicon Mobile users, added a report filter option, and fixed an issue. Plus, we updated our CloudClock app and both versions of our mobile app.

Update to Mobile for iOS and Android

Replicon Mobile for iOS and Android are now available in the Apple app store and Play store. They include the improvements described below.

Supervisors can submit and resubmit timesheets

If a Supervisor has Submit permission enabled for timesheets, they can now submit timesheets on behalf of their reports via the Team Timesheets section of the mobile app. And, if they also have Reopen permission, they can now resubmit timesheets they’ve reopened and edited.

Previously, Supervisors had to use the web app to submit or resubmit reports' timesheets.

Approval status now appears on timesheets

You can now view each timesheet's approval status (Not Submitted, Waiting for Approval, Approved, Rejected) via the mobile app.

Supervisors can view the approval status of their reports’ timesheets via the mobile dashboard – whether they’re waiting for approval or are listed under Team Timesheets or Previous Approvals. Each user can see the approval status on their own timesheets.

Timesheets with Schedule and Time Banks components are now functional

Previously, if you had the Schedule or Time Banks components enabled in your configurable timesheet, you’ll get a message stating your timesheet format isn’t supported on Replicon Mobile. Now, you can use any other supported components of the timesheet – the Schedule and Time Banks functionality will simply be ignored.

Update to CloudClock for iOS

Replicon CloudClock for iOS is now available in the Apple app store. It includes a fix to the following issue:

  • Time off balances are always shown in days, even if the time off type is set to display in hours

Ability to choose which punch actions are available when maximum work segment length is exceeded

A new rule is available in punch entry policies for those using the Maximum Work Segment Length option. The new When max work segment length is exceeded option allows you to choose which punch actions (e.g. Clock InClock Out) display to a user who has exceeded the maximum work segment length between punches defined in their policy.

You can choose to show the user all punch actions (this is the default setting) or just the Clock In option.

Note that this new setting applies to mobile and CloudClock only, and only to customers enabled with context-appropriate punch buttons.

A new option is available in the Data to Display filter of the Task, Time, Expense, Cost & Billing data report template: The option, called Show only data with actual hours or expenses, will hide expenses with no amounts entered, along with entries without hours.

Fixed issues

  • The invoice pages don’t use the viewer’s local negative and positive currency format settings
