This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, added new time off and timesheet validation rules, and fixed a couple of issues.

And, remember to reset your passwords in accordance with our new password complexity standard.

New time off booking validation rule

We’ve added a new time off booking validation ruleLimit time off allowed in a rolling period.

With this rule, you specify duration of the rolling period (which begins when the policy takes effect), and the maximum duration and/or number of bookings allowed during that period. ‘Rolling’ means a new period of that duration starts when the preceding one ends.

This sort of rule is useful in places like Norway that allow for limiting bookings in this manner.

New timesheet validation rule

We’ve added a Monthly Overtime Hours timesheet validation rule that checks whether overtime hours worked by a user within each calendar month exceed a number you define.

This rule is useful in countries like Taiwan that have a cap on how many overtime hours can be worked in a month.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes.

Fixed issues

  • When you add a new entry to a user’s existing time off policy in new time off, the page’s focus may jump to the top of the page
  • In the Target Billable Hours report, the Actual Non-Billable Hours field shows 0 for a timesheet even if non-billable hours are recorded in it, if:
      a) the system’s base currency is US dollars, and
      b) billable hours are also recorded, using a different currency (not US dollars)
