This week, we updated Replicon Mobile for Android and Replicon CloudClock for iOS. Plus, we added the ability to move groups in a hierarchy, added a new timesheet validation rule, and launched some new pay rules.

Moving groups

For those of you who use our groups functionality (locations, etc), you can now change a group type’s hierarchy without having to delete and re-create groups. This may, for example, be useful if your company is reorganizing.

To move a group, click the move icon, located beside each group:

Then, choose its new parent group:

That group and everything below it in the hierarchy will move under the new parent.

Note that, if your product allows you to restrict visibility based on group assignment, user access to a group may change when it’s moved. To learn more about this, and for other details about this feature, refer to Setting up user groups.

New timesheet validation rule: Work Day Hours Including/Excluding Time Off

This new rule displays a warning or error message if the number of hours a user records in a day falls outside the maximum or minimum limits you set. In addition, this rule lets you choose to include or exclude weekly days off, breaks, time off, holidays, or specific time off types in the total hours recorded.

This rule can, for example, be used to support certain Indian compliance requirements.

New pay rules

We’ve added standard rules to our pay rules library for Thailand, and for seven Indian states: Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Maharashtra, Haryana, Delhi, and Uttar Pradesh.

Update to CloudClock for iOS

Replicon CloudClock for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes bug fixes.

Update to Mobile for Android

Replicon Mobile for Android is now available in the Play store. It includes bug fixes and this improvement:

  • To make it easier to navigate between timesheet period dates, we’ve increased the tap area for the navigation arrows, and added a list of periods to choose from if you tap the current dates
