In the past two weeks, we updated Replicon Mobile for iOS, and launched timesheet conditional approvals and email forwarding for substitute users. We also expanded the number of decimal places you can include when creating accrual policies and fixed a couple of issues.

Update to Mobile for iOS

Replicon Mobile for iOS is now available in the App store. It includes:

  • Support for iPhone X
  • Support for Traditional (Taiwanese) Chinese
  • Some bug fixes

Timesheet conditional approvals

We’ve launched the timesheet conditional approval rules we previewed on May 8 and Nov 8.

These are the default rules that are now available:

  • Escalated to next supervisor after elapsed time - a.k.a. time-triggered approval, elapsed time value and number of hierarchy levels are configurable
  • Supervisor approves if above 40 hours - hours value is configurable
  • Supervisor approves overtime hours - overtime hours are determined by user's assigned pay rule

Conditional rules are applied to approval paths. You must have Timesheet Conditional Approver Rules administrator permission enabled before rules will be available in your instance. Please refer to Setting up conditional approval rules for more information on using the conditional rules. Conditional timesheet approval rules are available to enterprise-level customers.

And remember, we now have the capacity to create all kinds of custom approval rules. Please contact Replicon Support if you’d like more information.

Email notifications can now be automatically forwarded to substitute users

When you’re setting up a substitute user, you can now choose to have your email notification messages forwarded to your substitute, so they are aware of what tasks they need to carry out on your behalf.

Note that you’ll still receive all notifications, and your substitute will be added to email notifications in the cc: line.

This new functionality is available in the new product suite, and applies to email notifications only, not push notifications.

  • You can now enter up to 4 decimal places when creating accrual policies, in fields that allow decimals. Rounded values display on Balance History lists, but you can view the unrounded values via tool tips if you hover over values.

Fixed issues

  • Accruals based on hours worked are not added to a user’s time off balance if the timesheet is force approved by a payroll manager
  • If a full day booking is synchronized with the Apple calendar, it takes up the whole day, rather than displaying at the top of the calendar like other full-day events
